I used the Stampin’ Up! Picture Perfect stamp set to create a clean and simple card to share today.
The design for my card was loosely inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #154.
The gold touches on my card were inspired by Just Us Girls #325.
I started by stamping the starfish image from the Picture Perfect photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock. I sprinkled the image with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.
I inked the image from the Timeless Textures stamp set in Pool Party ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it across the starfish image. I repeated that two additional times, then adhered the stamped panel to a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL.
I cut the sentiment from Gold Foil Sheets with the Greetings Thinlits Die and adhered it with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the panel, then adhered the panel to a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a single Pool Party Candy Dot from the Candy Dots pack to the card front to finish it.
I stamped the starfish images from the Picture Perfect stamp set in Crumb Cake ink and the Timeless Texture images in Pool Party ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

So beautiful in its simplicity!
Thanks Linda! 🙂
Wow, love, love your card Amy 🙂 The gold accents and sentiment really pop! You are making me regret I didn’t get this set…yet, lol!
Thanks Jill! I love this set…you definitely “need” to get it! 🙂
This is a real CAS beauty! I love the soft stamping on the kraft in those gorgeous colors on your background and the gold foiled sentiment . Thanks for playing with us at JUGS!
Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment! 🙂
Love the interpretation of the sketch! The golden frame and sentiment work so nicely together with your natural images! Beautiful!
Thanks for joining us this week at Just Us Girls!
Thanks so much for stopping by to leave a comment!
Oh, how lovely! Wonderful take on the sketch, Amy!
Thanks so much Leigh! 🙂
The star fish was so good the gold seemed like overkill for such a great card!
Thanks for your comments Brent…maybe the gold is a little overpowering in the photo. It’s very difficult to get good photos of gold. 🙂
I did not think the gold was over powering. I just thought the rest of card is still a great card with gold or some other color as border and greeting. The only issue with the gold is maybe darkening the loops [artificially] of the letters could have helped the words but still did not detract from the card as whole. 🙂
I love what you did with this card! I would love to share this on my blog for ‘My Crafty Friends Monday’ (a round up of amazing cards from amazing stampers!)! Please let me know if you would prefer that I didn’t share it (of course I give you credit and link back to your blog!).
Inky Hugs!
Thanks Josee! You are very welcome to share my card. I’d be honored. 🙂
