I used the Stampin’ Up! Perfect Pairings Sale-a-bration stamp set to create my card to share today.
My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #202.
The theme for my card was inspired by Global Design Project GDP#023.
The colors for my card were inspired by The Paper Players #282.
I started by adhering a panel from the School House DSP pack to a Thick Whisper White card base with SNAIL. I used my Brayer to add a little Daffodil Delight ink to the raised areas on the Lucky Star Embossing Folder. I placed a panel of Whisper White card stock so that about 2/3 of it was inside the embossing folder and I ran it through the Big Shot.
I stamped the sentiment from the Perfect Pairings stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Pool Party ink on the flat area of the Whisper White panel, then stamped the star images from the Balloon Celebration photopolymer stamp set in Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight inks next to the sentient.
I punched balloons with the Balloon Bouquet and Party Punch Pack Punches from Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Tangerine Tango card stocks and adhered them to the Whisper White panel with Glue Dots. I stamped the balloon strings with the stamp from the Balloon Celebration stamp set in Smoky Slate ink (using a Post-It Note to cover the area that I didn’t want stamped on the upper part of the panel) under the balloons.
I wrapped a strand of the Pool Party 3/8″ Glitter Ribbon around the panel, adhering it with SNAIL. Then I adhered the panel to the card front with SNAIL. I stamped the sentiment from the Perfect Pairings stamp set in Tangerine Tango on a panel of Whisper White card stock, cut it out with the Bitty Banners Framelits die and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.
I stamped the sentiment from the Party With Cake stamp set in Pool Party ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card, then added a strip of the Schoolhouse DSP to finish it.
