Stampin’ Up! You’re So Lovely Congrats

I used the Stampin’ Up! You’re So Lovely stamp set to create a quick congratulations card to share today.

You're So Lovely - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project GDP#028.

My card was also inspired by Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #40.  I went down the right side: Buttons, Congrats, Ribbon or Twine.

Screen Shot 2016-03-25 at 10.42.40 AM

I started by stamping the circle image from the You’re So Lovely photopolymer stamp set in Pool Party ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock.  Then I stamped the circle image again in Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder and Crushed Curry inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the line image in Pool Party and Cucumber Crush inks over the circles.

You're So Lovely 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I placed a panel of White Vellum, cut to the same size as the Whisper White card stock, over the stamped panel, then stamped the sentiment from the You’re So Lovely stamp set in VersaMark Ink on the vellum panel.  I sprinkled the sentiment with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

You're So Lovely 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the vellum panel to the Whisper White panel with a tiny bit of SNAIL along the very edge on the right and left side, then adhered strips of Cherry On Top Designer Washi Tape over the area.  I adhered the layered panel to the Pool Party panel with SNAIL.

You're So Lovely 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I wrapped a strand of Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine around the layered panel, then tied a bow through a Bermuda Bay button.  I adhered the button with a Glue Dot to keep it in place, then adhered the panel to a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish the card front.

You're So Lovely 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip of Cherry on Top Washi Tape to a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
