Stampin’ Up! Apple of My Eye

I used the Stampin’ Up! Apple of My Eye stamp set to create my card to share today.  When I planned to use this color scheme, the only thing that I could see was pink grapefruit…hope that’s what it looks like to you all!

Apple of My Eye - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #229.

The colors for my card were inspired by Pals Paper Arts PPA293.

The pink on my card was also inspired by The Card Concept #51.  I think that my card fits the clean and layered category.

I started by stamping the leaf images from the Apple of My Eye photopolymer stamp set in Mint Macaron ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I added the sentiment to that panel in So Saffron ink.

Apple of My Eye 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to the right side of a panel of Blushing Bride card stock with SNAIL, then adhered a strip of So Saffron DSP from the Subltes DSP Stack with SNAIL to the left side of the panel.  I adhered a strip of Blushing Bride card stock over the seam where the papers came together with SNAIL, then adhered the layered panel to a So Saffron card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Apple of My Eye 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the fruit image from the Apple of My Eye stamp set in Blushing Bride ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock three times and I punched the images out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch.  I adhered the circle punches to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I pulled a strand of Whisper White Baker’s Twine through a So Saffron button from the Subtles Designer Buttons pack, tied a bow and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.

Apple of My Eye 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the images from the Apple of My Eye stamp set in Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.  I did punch a mask from a Post-It Note with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch that I placed over the fruit image when I stamped the leaves.
