Hello and Happy Tuesday! Stampin’ Up! has some new Weekly Deals for us today. But before I get to those, I wanted to share a quick thank you note that I created so that my girls could send out thank you’s for some Easter treats that they received. I used the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set and a little of the Wildflower Fields DSP to make this notecard.
I started by stamping the little chick image from the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Basic Black Archival ink on a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock and on a panel of Wildflower Fields DSP (Sale-a-bration item). I colored the feet on the DSP and beak on the Daffodil Delight panel with my Tangerine Tango Marker, then snipped the body of the chick out of the Daffodil Delight card stock.
I adhered the little chick over the stamped DSP panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhered the DSP panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock and then to a Whisper White Notecard with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set in Basic Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with a Tags & Labels Framelits die. I adhered it to a Tags & Labels Framelits die cut from Basic Black card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL. I punched a little heart with the Owl Builder Punch from the gold Metallics Glitter Tape (Sale-a-bration item) and adhered it to the sentiment to finish it. Super quick and easy and it’s flat for mailing!
