I used one of the Host Exclusive stamp sets from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog to create my card today. This stamp set is called Gift of Love and it’s designed for two-step stamping.
My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #279.
I started by adhering a panel from the Affectionately Yours Speciality DSP (available June 1) to a Watermelon Wonder card base with SNAIL. Then I stamped the flower outline image from the Gift of Love host exclusive photopolymer stamp set (available June 1) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.
I stamped the flower bloom images from the Gift of Love stamp set in Watermelon Wonder ink on the Crumb Cake panel, then stamped the leaves in Cucumber Crush ink. I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Watermelon Wonder card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the banner outline image from the Thoughtful Banners photopolymer stamp set (available June 1) in Watermelon Wonder ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock, then curved the sentiment from the Gift of Love stamp set so that it fit inside the banner, adhered it to my acrylic block and stamped it on the Crumb Cake panel in Cucumber Crush ink.
I punched the stamped banner out with the Duet Banner Punch (available June 1 in a bundle with the Thoughtful Banners stamp set) and adhered it with SNAIL under the left side and a Stampin’ Dimensional under the right.
I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Affectionately Yours DSP to a Crumb Cake panel inside the card.

What a beauty! Your card is lovely. I especially like the panel on the card base – fabulous.
Thanks Melanie! 🙂
Really beautiful card today. Love the way the crumb cake makes the watermelon wonder and cucumber crush look so rich! Oh my, love that we can bend the photopolymer to fit the banner punch 🙂
Thanks Jill! Love that the photopolymer stamps work with those curved punches too! 🙂
Love those rich colors. That flower is gorgeous. TFS
