Stampin’ Up! Badges & Banners for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

HappyStampersBlogPostBannerI used the Stampin’ Up! Badges & Banners stamp set to create my card for the Happy Stampers blog hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Badges & Banners - Stamp With Amy K

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

July 7 - 2016

I started by adhering a panel from the Fruit Stand DSP to a panel of Flirty Flamingo card stock with SNAIL, then to a Cucumber Crush card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I trimmed the edge off one of the Delicate White Doilies and adhered it with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue (mostly under the area that would be covered by the layers).  I adhered a strip of Fruit Stand DSP to a strip of Flirty Flamingo card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.

Badges & Banners 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the badge image from the Badges & Banners stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, punched it out with the matching Best Badge Punch (available in a bundle with the Badges & Banners stamp set for 10% off!) and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I colored the banner image from the Badges & Banners stamp set with my Cucumber Crush, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock, punched it out with the matching Duet Banner Punch and adhered it to the badge with SNAIL.

Badges & Banners 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I pulled four strands from the Cucumber Crush Thick Baker’s Twine, threaded them through a Classy Designer Button and tied a bow.  I adhered the button to the card front with a Glue Dot.

I adhered a strip of the Fruit Stand DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
