I used the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Branches stamp set to create my card to share today. The Thoughtful Branches Bundle will be available Aug 2-31 while supplies last.
The design for my card were inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #246.
The die cuts on my card were inspired by TGIF Challenge #65.
I started by adhering a panel from the Serene Scenery DSP Stack to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with SNAIL and then to a Watermelon Wonder card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I punched a strip of Whisper White card stock with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch on top and I stamped the grass image from the Thoughtful Branches photopolymer stamp set (available Aug 2-31) in Old Olive ink across the bottom. I cut a tree with the Beautiful Branches Thinlits die from Crumb Cake card stock and I adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the tag.
I stamped the tree top image from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with the matching Beautiful Branches Thinlits die. I adhered the tree top image over the tree die cut with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then placed the tag on the card front to determine placement. I cut the edge of the tree image off so that it was even with the edge of the background panel.
I pulled a small piece of Watermelon Wonder 5/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon through the top of the tag and used the Handheld Stapler to staple the ribbon to the tag. I adhered the tag to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped several fruit images with the Thoughtful Branches stamp set in Delightful Dijon and Watermelon Wonder inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut them with the matching Beautiful Branches Thinlits die. I adhered the fruit die cuts to the tree image with dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I stamped the sentiment from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set in Watermelon Wonder ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock. I punched the end of the sentiment strip with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhered it with SNAIL over a strip of Crumb Cake card stock that had also been punched with the Banner Triple Punch. I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked the leaf image from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set in Delightful Dijon ink, then used a Sponge Dauber to add a little Old Olive ink around the edges. I stamped the image on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with the matching Beautiful Branches Thinlits die. I repeated that process for the second leaf and then adhered them both to the card front with Glue Dots.
I stamped the sentiment from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set in Watermelon Wonder ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card. I added a stamped leaf and a die cut leaf in Delightful Dijon and Old Olive inks to finish it.
