I used the Stampin’ Up! Love You Lots Host Exclusive stamp set for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.
Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC132. Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the other design team members created and to play along too!
I started by inking the Hardwood stamp in Tip Top Taupe ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamping it on a panel of Sahara Sand card stock. I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Tip Top Taupe card stock with SNAIL and then to a Flirty Flamingo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered a panel from the 2016-2018 In Color Envelope Paper to the card front with SNAIL. Then I stamped the hedgehog image from the Lot You Lots Host Exclusive stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Watercolor Paper. I watercolored the hedgehogs with an Aqua Painter and Tip Top Taupe ink. I colored the little flower with Flirty Flamingo and Cucumber Crush Stampin’ Write Markers and then cut the image out with a Layering Circles Framelits die.
I inked the line image from the Timeless Textures stamp set in Tip Top Taupe ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it around the edges of the circle die cut several times. I adhered the circle with Fast Fuse Adhesive to a scalloped circle that I cut from Tip Top Taupe card stock with one of the dies from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. I adhered the layered circles to the card front with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the Love You Lots stamp set on watercolor paper and then cut it out with the inlaid banner from the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies. To create the layered banner, I rolled the inlaid banner die and a piece of Tip Top Taupe card stock just far enough through the Big Shot to cut one banner end. I trimmed the rest of the Tip Top Taupe banner with my trimmer and then cut the end off the Watercolor banner piece so that it was slightly smaller than the Tip Top Taupe banner. I adhered the watercolor paper banner over the Tip Top Taupe banner with Fast Fuse Adhesive. To get the two additional chevrons, I cut another panel of Tip Top Taupe card stock with the same banner die, then snipped the two ends off and adhered them over the Watercolor sentiment panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread twice around the sentiment banner and tied a bow. Then I adhered a Flirty Flamingo enamel heart from the 2016-2018 Enamel Shapes pack to the banner. I adhered the layered banner to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked the hedgehog image from the Love You Lots stamp set in Tip Top Taupe ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice and then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I used a Blender Pen and a little Flirty Flamingo and Cucumber Crush ink to color the flower on the inside of the card.
