Stampin’ Up! Jar of Love for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

HappyStampersBlogPostBannerI used the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Love stamp set to create my card for the Happy Stampers blog hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I created for it.

Jar of Love - Stamp With Amy K

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

Aug 11

I started by punching three strips of By the Shore DSP with the Banner Triple punch on one end.  I adhered the strips to a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with SNAIL.

Jar of Love 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the jar images from the Jar of Love photopolymer stamp set in Dapper Denim ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I inked the water image in Dapper Denim, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the jar images.  I stamped the stem and bow images in Mint Macaron ink on the jars and then cut them out with the matching Everyday Jars Framelits Dies.  I adhered the larger jar to the Very Vanilla card stock panel with SNAIL and the smaller jar with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Jar of Love 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the fish, flower and leaf images from the Jar of Love stamp set in Calypso Coral (stamped off once for the flower backgrounds) and Mint Macaron inks.  I cut the images out with the matching Everyday Jars Framelits dies, snipped the end of the stems off and adhered them with Glue Dots to the Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the “birthday” sentiment from the Endless Birthday Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Dapper Denim ink on the Very Vanilla panel.  I carefully inked only the “fishes” sentiment from the Jar of Love stamp set in Dapper Denim ink and I stamped it under the birthday sentiment.

Jar of Love 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a panel of Mint Macaron card stock with SNAIL and then to a Dapper Denim card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Calypso Coral enamel heart from the Subtles Enamel Shapes pack next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

Jar of Love 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the jar and water images from the Jar of Love stamp set in Dapper Denim ink on a Very Vanilla panel and then added a Calypso Coral die cut fish on the inside of the card.

  1. I love that little goldfish stamp – it is the cutest. I like how you balanced all the bright colors with a lot of white space.

  2. I absolutely love this one. I have these stamps and have really enjoyed making cards with them. I will be making this one now also.

    Thank you again.

    Blessings!!

    Gloria
