I used the Stampin’ Up! Basket of Wishes stamp set to create my projects for the Happy Stampers blog hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and here are the cards that I created for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:
Here is the second version of this card with a different piece of designer paper and washi tape. 🙂
I started by adhering strips of Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape to panels of Halloween Night Specialty DSP. I adhered the DSP to panels of Old Olive card stock and then to Crumb Cake card bases with SNAIL.
I stamped the images from the Basket of Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Basic Gray Archival ink on panels of watercolor paper. I used Crushed Curry ink and an Aqua Painter to lightly wash the background of the panels, then used Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Perfect Plum and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Markers to color the basket images. I used my Aqua Painter to lightly touched the colored areas to remove the marker lines and then let the panel dry.
I adhered the watercolored panels to panels of Old Olive card stock with Fast Fuse Adhesive, then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around them and tied bows. I adhered the watercolored panels to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added two Halloween Night Enamel Dots and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the watercolored panels.
I stamped the sentiment from the Basket of Wishes stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Pumpkin Pie card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I punched both ends of the panel with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the basket images from the Basket of Wishes stamp set in Crumb Cake and Crushed Curry inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
