I used the Stampin’ Up! Feather Together stamp set to create a clean and simple fall thank you card to share today.

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #193.

I started by adhering two strips of Post-It Note Tape to a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  To help keep the lines straight, I lined up my card stock panel on a grid sheet and then adhered a strip of the tape 1/2″ from the left side and another strip 1-1/2″ from the left side.  I sponged Bermuda Bay ink on the lower half and Marina Mist ink on the upper half of the masked area.

I inked the grid image from the Timeless Textures stamp set in Marina Mist ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice and then stamped it over the masked area.  I repeated that process three times.  I removed the Post-It Note mask and then stamped the images from the Feather Together photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede ink over the masked area.

I stamped the sentiment from the Feather Together stamp set in Early Espresso ink next to the feather and then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Marina Mist card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to a Soft Suede card base with Stampin’ Dimesionals and then added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the feather images in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the card.

Stampin’ Up! is happy to announce that they are bringing back the replacement Stampin’ Trimmer Cutting Mats and Scoring Blades.  These items are available for you to start ordering now.

Stampin’ Up! was able to work out issues with their supplier to be able to offer these items to you.  The cutting blade that comes with the Stampin’ Trimmer does not make contact with the cutting mat so it should not wear it down. The scoring blade is made to last and will not wear out.  However, these replacement items may be helpful for you if you lose a piece or prefer to have extras on hand.
