I used the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Haunts stamp set to create my card for the Fab Friday color challenge this week.  The basic design of my card was inspired by one that Connie Collins created.  You can see her beautiful project here.

The design for my card was inspired by Retrosketches #235.

I started by stamping the pumpkin images from the Jar of Haunts photopolymer stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink several times across a panel of watercolor paper.

I used an Aqua Painter and a little Perfect Plum ink to paint the background around the pumpkins and then used Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive inks to add color to the pumpkins.  I let the watercolor paper dry completely and then adhered the panel to a panel of Perfect Plum card stock with Fast Fuse Adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment from the Endless Thanks photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a strip of Perfect Plum card stock, sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I stamped the branch images from the Endless Thanks stamp set in Perfect Plum ink randomly over the sentiment strip and then adhered a few loops of Copper Metallic Thread to the back with Glue Dots.

I adhered the sentiment strip to the watercolor panel with additional Glue Dots and then added three enamel dots from the Halloween Night Enamel Dots pack next to the sentiment.  I adhered the layered panel to an Old Olive card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

I stamped the pumpkin images from the Jar of Haunts stamp set in Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie inks and then added the sentiment from the Endless Thanks stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink next to it on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
