I used the Stampin’ Up! Big on Birthdays stamp set from the upcoming 2017 Occasions Catalog to create my card for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a color challenge and here is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel from the A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack to a Thick Whisper White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I inked the edges of the rectangular sentiment stamp from the Big on Birthdays photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 4) in Smoky Slate ink, stamped it on scrap paper then on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I stamped the bow image from the Big on Birthdays stamp set in Pool Party ink above the Smoky Slate image and then stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink over the top of it.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Smoky Slate card stock with SNAIL and then to a Calypso Coral card stock panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the layered sentiment panel to the card front with SNAIL and added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel over the center of the bow image to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Big on Birthdays stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on a Whisper White panel and then adhered a strip of A Little Foxy DSP on the inside of the card.
