I used the Stampin’ Up! Chase Your Dreams stamp set to make a fun hello card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 317.
I started by stamping the three hello sentiments from the Chase Your Dreams stamp set in Smoky Slate ink across a Smoky Slate card base randomly. Then I added a strip of the Urban Underground Designer Washi Tape down the right edge of the card base.
I stamped the three images and the sentiment from the Chase Your Dreams stamp set in Basic Gray Archival ink on panels of watercolor paper. I added some smudges of Daffodil Delight, Watermelon Wonder and Peekaboo Peach inks over the images with an Aqua Painter. I let the images dry completely and then adhered them to panels of Basic Gray card stock with Fast Fuse Adhesive.
I adhered the layered watercolor panels to the card front with Fast Fuse Adhesive and then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow. I added a single silver enamel shape from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to the card front to finish it.
I stamped the images from the Chase Your Dreams stamp set in Smoky Slate ink across the bottom of a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

What a fun card! I love your take on the sketch. I am always amazed at how you interpret each sketch so beautifully! 🙂
Thanks so much Jari! 🙂
How clever of you to use these stamps to fit the challenge sketch. Great card!
Thanks Melanie! 🙂
You make it look so easy! Love the background, the stamping and the washi tape. Very “step out of the box” interpretation of the sketch. I wouldn’t have thought to go with the splashes of color and yet it was the perfect touch. It brightens the card perfectly! Thanks again Amy, for helping me see another way 😉
Thanks Jill! I tried a few options with this sketch but just kept going back to those buildings. 🙂
Perfect – just perfect!! Love this card, Amy! 🙂
Thanks so much Mary! 🙂
Love this set…..why didn’t I get it? And I love how you used the images here!
Thanks Linda! You definitely need this set…it’s really cute! 🙂
