Stampin’ Up! Inside the Lines DSP with Milestone Moments

I used a little of the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration exclusive Inside the Lines DSP along with the Milestone Moments stamp set to create a birthday card to share with you today.

The spring colors for my card were inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #257.

I started by coloring a panel from the Inside the Lines DSP (Sale-a-bration item, see details about how you can get this for free below!) with Cucumber Crush, Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered the colored DSP panel to a panel of Cucumber Crush card stock with SNAIL.

Then I stamped the sentiments from the Milestone Moments photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Flirty Flamingo card stock.  I sprinkled the images with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them, then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Cucumber Crush card stock and then to the DSP panel with SNAIL.

I cut the flower pieces with the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies from Peekaboo Peach, Daffodil Delight and Cucumber Crush card stocks.  I adhered the flower together and to the card front with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the flower center and then adhered the layered panel to a Flirty Flamingo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the flower images from the Botanical Blooms photopolymer stamp set in Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and Cucumber Crush inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.  I had a little bee die cut from Basic Black and Daffodil Delight card stocks with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies leftover from another project and I thought that he looked perfect hovering over the flower image so I glued it down with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to finish the inside.

Reminder:  2015-2017 In Colors Will Be Retiring Soon!

2015-2017-in-colors-stamp-with-amy-k

I try to post a few reminders during Sale-a-bration every year that right now is a great time to stock up on those retiring In Colors.  As you know, once the retiring list is posted in April, all of those retiring In Color items become available only while supplies last.

If you love these colors as much as I do, be sure to stock up on card stock, ink pads, ink refills as well as the ribbons and designer papers before they are gone!  Sale-a-bration is a great time to order anything that you’d like from the retiring In Color list since they’re in stock now…no stressing about missing out on them later!  Plus you earn a free Sale-a-bration item with every $50 that you purchase.  It’s a win-win!

  1. Wow! If that doesn’t brighten someone’s day, nothing will! Gorgeous card – beautiful coloring! I love it – well done:-)

  2. Did you have a Zen moment while you colored 😉 It’s the hottest thing now. I haven’t tried this DSP yet. You keep motivating me with your fantastically creative cards 🙂

    • Thanks so much Jill! It took a little time to color but wasn’t too bad. I am really happy with the way that it turned out, especially since I just used a marker to color it with no special techniques involved! 🙂

  3. What a super cheery card! Love the colors you chose, and the botanical blooms accents work perfect. You can’t help but smile with this color combo! 🙂

  4. I just love this and the hand colored background paper is super sweet. Your color palette is perfect for spring and makes me smile. Thanks for playing along with our inspiration challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. Cheers, Elizabeth

  5. Amy, this card is so pretty! I love all of the bright and cheery colors you used. Thank you for joining us at HSS!
