I used the Stampin’ Up! Bookcase Builder stamp set to create a fun and customizable baby card.
The colors for my card were inspired by Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #86. I had to add in a little Sahara Sand as a neutral for those colors to work together for me.
I started by stamping the image from the Hardwood stamp in Sahara Sand ink on a panel of Sahara Sand card stock. I adhered the stamped panel to a Bermuda Bay card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the images from the Bookcase Builder stamp set in Sahara Sand, Bermuda Bay, So Saffron and Peekaboo Peach inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock. To get the spacing right, I stamped the bottom self first and then stamped the “items” on the shelf, then added the second shelf and the items and finally the third shelf and the items.
The images with more than one color were carefully inked with ink pads, which isn’t difficult since the stamps are clear. I inked the sentiment with Peekaboo Peach and Bermuda Bay inks and stamped it under the bottom shelf. I used my Stampin’ Trimmer to cut the bottom of the panel to look like a banner and then tied a strand of Linen Thread around it.
I adhered the stamped banner to the card front with Stampin’ Dimesionals and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment and a So Saffron enamel heart from the Subtles Enamel Shapes pack inside the frame to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and images from Bookcase Builder stamp set in Bermuda Bay, Peekaboo Peach and So Saffron inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
