Stampin’ Up! All Things Thanks Quick Spring Card

I use the Stampin’ Up! All Things Thanks and Special Reason stamp sets to create a quick spring card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches 281.

The colors for my card were inspired by Color Throwdown #436.

I started by adhering strips of designer paper from the Subtles DSP Stack with SNAIL across a Whisper White card stock panel.  I adhered the Whisper White card stock panel to a So Saffron card stock panel with SNAIL and then to a Marina Mist card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the All Things Thanks stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of So Saffron card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die.

I inked the flower image from the Special Reason stamp set in So Saffron ink, used a Sponge Dauber to remove the ink from the flower center and then added a little Marina Mist back in with a separate Sponge Dauber.  I inked the leaf image from the Special Reason stamp set in Wild Wasabi ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it near the flower image.

I adhered the sentiment circle to a circle cut with a Layering Circles Framelits die from Marina Mist card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish it.

I stamped the flower image from the Special Reason stamp set in Wild Wasabi, So Saffron and Marina Mist inks on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, to create this project at the very bottom of this post.

Thank You!!

I wanted to post a note to say a huge thank you to everyone that stopped by to run through the Autism Matters blog hop yesterday and made a donation to Autism Speaks!  You all are the best!  I was totally overwhelmed that we passed the $500 donation mark that I’d set in just a few hours!  The donation link is going to stay open for awhile so feel free to stop by if you’d like to help out too!  I appreciate it so much!
