I used the Stampin’ Up! Custom Tee stamp set to create a masculine thank you card to share with you today.
As you read this, I’ll be packing up and heading down the road to Savannah, GA with a couple of our team members for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage Local event this weekend. We’re meeting up with the rest of our group this afternoon for a weekend full of sneak peeks from the new 2017-18 Annual Catalog, a little stamping and lots of laughs!
My card design was inspired by Sketch Saturday #457.
The colors for my project were inspired by Global Design Project #081.
I started by adhering panels of Night of Navy (from the Regals DSP Stack) and Cucumber Crush DSP (from the 2015-2017 In Color DSP Stack) to panels of Night of Navy and Cucumber Crush card stock with SNAIL. Then I adhered the layered panels to a larger panel of Cucumber Crush card stock with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the That’s the Tag photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on the Cucumber Crush card stock panel and carefully sprinkled White Stampin’ Emboss Powder over it. I heat embossed the sentiment and then adhered the Cucumber Crush card stock panel to a Whisper White card stock panel with SNAIL.
I cut an oval with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die from Whisper White card stock and adhered it to the DSP layers with SNAIL and then wrapped a strand of Solid Night of Navy Baker’s Twine around it and tied a small knot. I adhered the layered panel to a Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the t-shirt and sentiment from the Custom Tee photopolymer stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Whisper White card stock panel. I colored the collar with a Cucumber Crush Stampin’ Write Marker and stamped the stripes on the sleeves with the image from the Custom Tee stamp set in Cucumber Crush ink. I cut the t-shirt out with the T-shirt Builder Framelits Die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered a strip of Night of Navy DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
