I got a new Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Crafting Forever at the OnStage event this past weekend…and you know me, I can’t help myself, I have to show you all sneak peeks of the upcoming goodies!
My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #216.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Feather Together photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Sahara Sand card stock. Then I inked the pen image from the Crafting Forever stamp set (available June 1) in Soft Suede ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the panel. I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig to help me with placement of the pen images.
I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Soft Suede card stock with SNAIL and then to an Early Espresso card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels under the sentiment to finish the card front. The Rhinestones from the current catalog are being retired and they’re sold out, but the packaging is just being reconfigured for the new catalog so they’ll be back soon! 🙂
I stamped the sentiment from the Big on Birthdays photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Sahara Sand card stock inside the card and then I inked, stamped off and stamped the pen image from the Crafting Forever stamp set in Soft Suede ink to finish it.
Here is a peek at the awesome Crafting Forever stamp set that will be available beginning June 1!

Thanks so much Mary! 🙂
Nice card Amy! The stamps you chose are perfect for the sketch!
Thanks Terri! 🙂
Oh, so nice! I love these images on your card! Very clean and neat looking! Perfect for that sketch, too.
Thanks Jari! 🙂
Neat, clean and simple. Great for anyone depending on the colors used. Neutrals great for a guy! Haven’t watched your ‘unboxing’ video yet.
Thanks Julie! Hope that you have time to check out the video! 🙂
Love this card, Amy! I’m an ink pen hoarder so this spoke to me. Lol
Also, I just finished watching your video…awesome job and awesome new stuff!!! How do they keep coming up with all this fun, must have stuff?!??
Thanks Barb! I don’t know how they do it…but my wish list from the new catalog is a mile long already!! 🙂
Love your card using the brand new stamp set!! I think that one will be at the top of my wishlist 🙂 I bought a TON of the rhinestones, just in case … they are so sparkly I had to make sure I was stocked up 🙂 Is there any list that is being updated to show what is sold out, like they used to do earlier?
Thanks Deepa! I’m glad that you stocked up on Rhinestones…they were a great price on sale! 🙂 Stampin’ Up! is not updating the list with items as they sell out this year. We just have to try to keep up with what’s left in the online store compared to what is on the retiring list. 🙂
Amy, Do you still do card making classes?
Hi Helen, at this point I’m only offering the free online tutorial with a purchase. Thanks for checking! 🙂
Love this one. I will have to get this one as my son makes pens and sells them. This will be perfect for his birthday card.
Gloria
Thanks Gloria! It’s a great stamp set and I’m sure that your son will love the image too! 🙂
