Stampin’ Up! In Color Fairy Celebration

I used the Stampin’ Up! Fairy Celebration stamp set and the new 2017-19 In Colors to create my card to share today.

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 496.

The birthday theme for my card was inspired by Stamp Ink Paper 98.

I started by stamping the border image from the Background Bits host exclusive stamp set (available June 1) in Berry Burst ink (available June 1) on Berry Burst card stock (available June 1).  I adhered a panel of Fresh Florals DSP (available June 1) to the card front over the stamped images with SNAIL.

I stamped the fairy image from the Fairy Celebration stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of watercolor paper.  I used Powder Pink, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, Fresh Fig (all available June 1), Soft Suede and So Saffron inks and a Aqua Painter to add color to the images and background.  I let the panel dry completely and then stamped the sentiment from the Fairy Celebration stamp set in Berry Burst ink on the panel.

I adhered the watercolor panel to a panel of Lemon Lime Twist card stock with Fast Fuse Adhesive and then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow.  I adhered the stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (available June 1) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Fairy Celebration stamp set in Berry Burst ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.  I inked and stamped off the sparkle image several times in Lemon Lime Twist ink over the sentiment.  I added a strip of Fresh Florals DSP to finish the inside of the card.
