Stampin’ Up! Blooms & Wishes CAS Just Breathe Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Blooms & Wishes and Colorful Seasons stamp sets to create a clean and simple card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by the Fusion Sketch this week.

The colors for my card were inspired by Global Design Project #GDP089.

I started by stamping the flower and leaf images from the Blooms & Wishes photopolymer stamp set randomly over a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I used a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to color the very end of one of the branch images from the Blooms & Wishes stamp set and I stamped it in the center of each flower.

I cut the stamped panel three times with a die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and I adhered the die cut squares with SNAIL to squares cut from Basic Black card stock.  I arranged the squares on the front of a Thick Whisper White card base and adhered them with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons photopolymer stamp set in Basic Black ink across the front of the Thick Whisper White card base.  I inked the flower images from the Blooms & Wishes stamp set in Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Basic Black inks, stamped them on scrap paper once and then stamped them under the sentiment.  I added some of the small Pearl Basic Jewels over the flower panels to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower images from the Blooms & Wishes stamp set in Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Basic Black inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

You can see a list of supplies, including card stock cuts, used to create this card at the very bottom of this post.

  2. I love this card, especially the 3 squares. That is always a challenge for me to get them all the same size and glued w/the correct spaces between! Thanks for sharing!!

  3. Bright colorful cards make me happy and this card makes me very happy. You did a great job Amy, very soon I’m going to need to add you to my list of enablers. I see the beauty of a stamp set in your card and I have to order it.

  4. How beautiful! Those flowers are perfect for the size of the squares and that little flower beside the sentiment wins my heart! How do you do it day after day? They’re always great!

  5. Hahaha, another addition to the “Amy Helped Me” club 😉 Your card is so very beautiful in it’s simplistic layout. I actually thought the flower squares were a DSP! You did a great job creating it 😊
