Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet Anniversary Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet stamp set bundle to create my card to share with you today.

I started by inking the splatter image from the Painter’s Palette stamp set in Crumb Cake ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamping it across the front of a Thick Whisper White card base.  I repeated that process until the image was stamped across the card front at an angle.

I embossed a panel of White Vellum with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder and then adhered it with a tiny bit of SNAIL (hidden under the bouquet) to a panel from the Wood Textures DSP Stack.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut the stems for the bouquet from Pear Pizzazz card stock and the two little individual stems from Crumb Cake card stock with the Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies.  I adhered the Pear Pizzaz stems to the card front with Glue Dots.  Then I stamped the flower images from the Beautiful Bouquet photopolymer stamp set in Peekaboo Peach, Calypso Coral, Powder Pink, So Saffron, Soft Sky and Bermuda Bay inks and the wrap in Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut them out with the matching Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies and adhered the die cut flowers, wrap and branches to the card front with Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, cut it out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and adhered it with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the flowers to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and flowers from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set in Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky, Peekaboo Peach and Calypso Coral and the splatters from the Painter’s Palette stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

You can see a list of supplies, including card stock cuts, to create this project at the very bottom of my blog post.

  1. Lovely card Amy. I really like the embossed vellum. It adds some texture without detracting from the focal point. The countdown has begun, only 4 more days! Will you be posting from Thailand?

    • Thanks so much Julie! Yes, I’m planning to post while I’m in Thailand! Hopefully the internet access will be decent so that I can upload and share pictures from the trip! 🙂

  2. Amy this is just gorgeous!!! I keep thinking I don’t need another flower set but the cards you have made with this bundle are quickly convincing me otherwise!

  3. That’s a beautiful card–that set is definitely named appropriately! Love the embossed vellum an total card! TFS. Happy Fourth to you!
