I used the Stampin’ Up! Coffee Cafe stamp set bundle to create my card to share with you today.  As you read this, I’ll be on my way to the airport to fly out to Thailand!  The flight time is right at 24 hours and I won’t be able to answer emails or messages during the flights.  Hopefully I’ll be able to catch up again some time on Monday…from my beach chair in the pool!   😉

My card design was very loosely inspired by Global Design Project #GDP094.

I started by stamping the coffee bean image from the Coffee Cafe photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Cake ink across the front of a Crumb Cake card base.  I adhered a panel from the Coffee Break DSP to a panel of Soft Sky card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I punched a strip of Whisper White card stock with the Banner Triple Punch and then inked just the “friend” sentiment from the Coffee Cafe stamp set in Soft Suede ink and I stamped it on the banner.  I adhered the banner to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the coffee cup, whipped cream, straw and sentiment images from the Coffee Cafe stamp set in Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Garden Green inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut them out with the matching Coffee Cups Framelits Dies.

I stamped the coffee lid in VersaMark ink on a panel of White Vellum, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut it out with the matching Coffee Cups Framelits Die and then cut and embossed the “sleeve” for the coffee cup from Pear Pizzazz card stock with the Coffee Cups Framelits Die.  I adhered the coffee cup pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adding one of the Corrugated Elements under the sentiment.

I adhered the coffee cup to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Garden Green enamel dots from the Regals Enamel Shapes pack to finish it.

I stamped the coffee beans from the Coffee Cafe stamp set in Crumb Cake ink across a Whisper White panel inside the card.
