I used the Stampin’ Up! Graceful Garden stamp set and a little of the Petal Garden DSP to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today. We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I created for it.
Here are the colors that we’re using this week:
I started by adhering two panels from the Petal Garden DSP Stack slightly off-set on a Calypso Coral card base with SNAIL. Then I punched the end of a strip of White Vellum with the Banner Triple Punch and embossed it with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder. I adhered the vellum to the card front with SNAIL (hidden under the sentiment area).
I stamped the sentiment from the Graceful Garden stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then punched it out with the 2″ Circle Punch. I adhered a strand of Calypso Coral 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon with Glue Dots to the back of the Circle Punch, then I adhered the circle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a Calypso Coral enamel dot from the Subtles Enamel Shapes pack next to the sentiment and two Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.
I stamped the trellis and branch image from the Graceful Garden stamp set in Pool Party and Old Olive inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

Thanks Kay! 🙂
What a gorgeous color combination – I love how the DSP did most of the work for you! The touches you added really make the card spectacular – the vellum banner, the offset panels, and the fun ribbon treatment behind the sentiment. The lucky recipient would just have to smile if they got that card in their mailbox 🙂
Thanks Deepa! So glad that you liked it! 🙂

Ha! Thanks Shelagh…crooked is definitely hard for me to do! 🙂
Gorgeous card, Amy! I love the way you used the ribbon, too. I have fallen way behind on your blog – need to catch up on all the pretties.
