Stampin’ Up! Painted Harvest for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Painted Harvest stamp set bundle to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

My card design was loosely inspired by TGIF Challenge #TGIFC129.

I started by adhering a panel from the Painted Autumn DSP to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL.  Then I inked the smaller sunflower image from the Painted Harvest photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice and then stamped it on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I repeated that process until the panel was covered with flowers.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the panel.

I adhered the stamped panel to the Early Espresso card stock panel with SNAIL and then tied a length of Jute Twine around it.  I adhered the layered panel to an Early Espresso card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I inked the larger sunflower image from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Tangerine Tango ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I stamped the smaller sunflower image over it in full strength Tangerine Tango ink, then added the flower center in Early Espresso ink.

I cut the flower out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die and adhere it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the leaf images from the Painted Harvest stamp set one on top of the other in Lemon Lime Twist ink three times on Very Vanilla card stock.  I punched the images out with the Leaf Punch and adhered them under the flower die cut with Glue Dots.  I added a single gold enamel dot from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower images on a Very Vanilla card stock panel in Early Espresso ink (stamped off twice) to finish the inside of the card.
