Stampin’ Up! Amazing You Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration exclusive stamp set called Amazing You and the Sale-a-bration Celebrate You Thinlits Dies to create my card to share with you today. I also used the new Stamparatus positioning tool for a little stamping on this card! I got to order mine a little early (YAY!!) and I did a quick video showing you how I made this card with it.

I started by adhering a panel of the Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP (available Jan 3) to a Powder Pink card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I used the Stamparaus (reserve yours now through Dec 30, see the details here) to stamp the sentiment from the Amazing You stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3) down a panel of Whisper White card stock in Tranquil Tide ink.

I stamped the flower image from the Amazing You stamp set in Powder Pink ink on the Whisper White card stock panel, then die cut the sentiment with the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3) from Champagne Foil Sheets.  I adhered the sentiment die cut to the Whisper White card stock panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Champagne Foil Sheets with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the flower image from the Amazing You stamp set in Powder Pink ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

If you haven’t seen it yet, here is the video tutorial that I did on Facebook for this card (you’ll need to click over to my blog post here to see the video if you are viewing this post by email).

You can see a list of supplies for creating this card, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

  1. Beautiful, Amy – and that hinge-step stamping is so cool! Like Robbye – a little (or more than a little?) jealous that you got yours so early! But also grateful that you lent your expertise so this will be an awesome tool!! 🙂

    • I was on a large team that provided input on the design. I can’t say that I “helped to design” it specifically. I just gave my input to the team that designed it! There were a group of about 800-900 of us that gave our thoughts and made suggestions on the tool. 🙂
