Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Blooms Lovely Day Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Blooms Sale-a-bration exclusive stamp set and the Lovely Wishes stamp set to create my card to share today.

I used the Stampin’ Blends to color this beautiful image and I hopped on Facebook Live to show you how I made this card.  Hope that you enjoy watching the replay!

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #280.

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Layered Leaves Embossing folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a slightly larger panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL.  I punched the ends of a strip of Pink Pirouette card stock with the Banner Triple Punch and then stamped the little flower outline images from the Lovely Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Pink Pirouette ink randomly over it.  I added the sentiment from the Lovely Wishes stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink on the left side of the banner, then adhered it to the embossed panel with SNAIL.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the embossed panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the panel to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the image from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set (Sale-a-bration exclusive) in Pear Pizzazz ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, then used the Light Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers as well as the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the images.

I cut the image out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the image from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Amy I just LOVE the way you colored that image! It is so soft…it’s just beautiful. Question..did you color over the Pear Pizazz with the alcohol markers/ I didn’t know you could do that. I love your blog and all your creations!

    • Thanks so much Dianne! Yes! I let the image dry a few minutes and then colored right over it. It works with all of the Classic Stampin’ ink since they are water based. The only colors that don’t work with Stampin’ Blends are Basic Black Archival or Basic Gray Archival since they are also alcohol based ink. 🙂

  2. Oops, too slow checking email today to get to Facebook in time to see it so will look forward to the replay so I can see how you did this beautiful flower! Love the soft coloring on it!

    • Thanks Susan! The replay is out on my Facebook page and I’m posting it to my YouTube channel and on this blog post as well! 🙂

  3. Amy – lovely card — really shows off the beautiful flowers. Enjoyed your video and all the tips you provide, especially how you can use different inks with the blends markers.
