I pulled out the fun Brusho Crystal Colour and the pretty Beautiful Peacock stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #320.
I started by sprinkling Prussin Blue Brusho® Crystal Colour over a panel of Shimmery White card stock, then I spritzed the panel with a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with water. If you’re interested, I have a video tutorial showing you how to create this type of background on my YouTube channel here.
While the background panel was drying, I stamped the peacock images from the Beautiful Peacock photopolymer stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Tranquil Tide, Dapper Denim and Berry Burst inks on another panel of Shimmery White card stock. I cut the image out with a Layering Circles Framelits die. I adhered the circle die cut to the dry Brusho covered panel with SNAIL so that the left side of the circle was slightly off the edge of the panel. I trimmed the circle even with the edge of the panel.
I stamped the longer tail feather image from the Beautiful Peacock stamp set in Dapper Denim ink across the die cut circle and the Brusho covered panel four times, then adhered a small piece of Washi Tape Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit over the bottom of the circle die cut and around the back of the panel. I adhered the Brusho panel to a panel of Dapper Denim card stock with Fast Fuse Adhesive, then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel and tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to a Berry Burst card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Peacock stamp set in Berry Burst ink on a panel of Shimmery White card stock and cut it out with the banner die from the Popcorn Box Thinlits Die. I adhered the sentiment banner to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes (they’re hard to see but they’re there just to the right of the die cut circle!) to finish the card front.
I stamped the small flower images from the Beautiful Peacock stamp set in Berry Burst, Dapper Denim and Tranquil Tide inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

Beautiful! I really need to play with my Brusho and attempt to get as good with them as you are! 🙂
Thanks Mary! I just dump and spritz a couple of times…and maybe add just a little more Brusho if it gets to watered down. That’s all that their is too it!

Amy this card is gorgeous. Blue is a color that I associate with peacocks. I haven’t worked up the nerve to try the Brusho yet.
