Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Blooms Thank You

I used the Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Blooms Sale-a-bration exclusive stamp set to create a thank you card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Sketch Saturday #497.

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel from one of the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes card bases and I adhered it over the center of the embossed panel with SNAIL.

I stamped the flower image from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then I colored the largest flower with my Light Pink Pirouette and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink under the flower.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Lemon Lime Twist card stock with SNAIL and the to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower image from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I adhered it inside the card.

  1. OK. My mom taught me that if you can’t say something nice you shouldn’t say anything at all! However, that is NOT why I am saying I think this is a lovely card…..in spite of the color you chose. I think everyone knows I do not care (understatement!) for this particular color, but that doesn’t keep me from appreciating your creativity and the overall look of this card. I may have to CASE it in another color just to show you how lovely it can REALLY be! 🙂

    • Ha! Come on Julie…I dare you to stamp that image in Lemon Lime Twist and not love it too! 😉 It’s okay though…there are colors that aren’t my favorites too! 🙂

  2. Hmmm…..my first comment didn’t go through. Second try. All the cards I’ve seen using this stamp set have caused me not to like it, until Now, Amy! Your subtle hint of added color to the image and the design look wonderful!

    • Thanks Roberta! Sorry that you had trouble leaving a comment…must have been a momentary hiccup with WordPress. Thanks for trying again! 🙂

  3. I’m not wild about LLT as the primary color on a card but your hint of pink softens it some. Maybe you can an “Alternate Friday” like Kristie’s Mondays and show Julie and me what it’d look like in a different color! 😉
