Stampin’ Up! Truly Tailored for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Truly Tailored stamp set bundle to create my card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC176.  Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the other design team members created and to play along too!

My card also works for Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTTC042.  I went from lower left to upper right.

I started by adhering two panels from the the Try Gentleman DSP to a panel of Tranquil Tide card stock with SNAIL.  Then I adhered a panel of Night of Navy card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a knot, then adhered the panel to a Soft Suede card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I colored the sentiment image from the Truly Tailored stamp set with my Tranquil Tide, Night of Navy and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers and then stamped it on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I punched the image out with the Tailored Tag Punch and then punched a panel of Tranquil Tide card stock with the Tailored Tag Punch.  I cut the Tranquil Tide punch in half and slid it about 1/8″ apart and adhered the two pieces to the back of the sentiment tag with SNAIL.

I adhered the sentiment punch to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three of the True Gentleman Buttons with Glue Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and bow tie images from the Truly Tailored stamp set in Soft Suede and Night of Navy inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  2. Hi Amy,

What a great card to inspire! Love this masculine theme – giving me ideas. Your color choices are perfect. Looks like you had a fun gathering, I too was blessed to go to a crop this weekend. Its nice to be around like-minded creative souls. Hope this week is especially creative for you!
