I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set bundle and the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today. We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here are the colors that we’re using this week:
The design for my card was inspired by The Paper Players PP399.
I started by adhering a panel from the Petal Promenade DSP to a panel of Petal Pink card stock with SNAIL. Then I adhered a wide strip of the Petal Promenade DSP over the first layer with SNAIL. I stamped the woodgrain image from the Gallery Grunge stamp set twice in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock and then adhered it to the panel with SNAIL.
I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice, tied a bow and then adhered it to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday photopolymer stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the flower image from the Beautiful Promenade photopolymer stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink and again in Petal Pink ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I cut the images out with the coordinating die from the Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies and then snipped the leaves off the Petal Pink image. I adhered the flowers together and then to the card front with Glue Dots. I added a few random Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I inked the flower image from the Beautiful Promenade stamp set in Petal Pink and then rolled the side of it over the Mossy Meadow ink pad to stamp the flower image to finish the inside of the card.
