I used the Pop of Petals stamp set bundle and the Perennial Birthday stamp set to create a birthday card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC182.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

The colors for my card were inspired by Color Throwdown 499.

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Call Me Clover card stock with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Pineapple Punch card stock, sprinkled it with Blueberry Bushel Embossing Powder from the In Color 2018–2020 Stampin’ Emboss Powder pack and heat embossed it.

I adhered the Pineapple Punch card stock panel to the Call Me Clover card stock panel with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Blueberry Bushel 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon around the panel and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Blueberry Bushel card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the leaves from the Lemon Zest stamp set in Call Me Clover ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and punched them out with the coordinating Lemon Builder Punch.  I stamped the flower image from the Pop of Petals stamp set six times in Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then punched them out with the coordinating Four-Petal Punch.  I adhered the flowers and leaves together with Glue Dots and then adhered the flower on the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the other two flowers with Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the flower image from the Pop of Petals stamp set three times in Pineapple Punch ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then used the small circle on the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch to punch out the flower centers.  I adhered the flower centers with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the flowers on the card front.

I stamped sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set and the flower from the Pop of Petals stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a Whisper White card stock panel.  I stamped the leaf from the Lemon Zest stamp set in Call Me Clover ink near the flower and then added another flower center stamped in Pineapple Punch ink and punched out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch to the flower center with a Glue Dot to finish the inside of the card.
