Stampin’ Up! Blended Seasons Birthday Card – Bundle Now Available!!

I used the Stampin’ Up! Blended Seasons stamp set along with the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies and the Joyous Noel Speciality DSP from the upcoming 2018 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog to create a birthday card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #282.

I started by adhering panels from the Joyous Noel Specialty DSP (available September 5) and the Nature’s Poem DSP packs to a Soft Suede card stock panel with SNAIL.  Then I embossed a panel of Soft Suede card stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder and I adhered it over the seam between the two papers with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to a Soft Suede card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I inked part of the sentiment from the Beautiful Day stamp set and then stamped it on a panel of Gray Granite card stock.  I inked the branch image from the Blended Seasons stamp set in Soft Suede ink, stamped it twice on scrap paper and then stamped it near the sentiment two times on the Gray Granite card stock panel.  I cut the sentiment out with the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies.

I cut a panel of Copper Foil with one of the dies from the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies (avaiable September 5) and then adhered the die cut to the sentiment panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the sentiment die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set in Soft Suede ink and then added the branch from the Blended Seasons stamp set in Gray Granite ink (stamped off once) on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. Just beautiful. I love the way you use so many different pieces from different sets and bring them a together.

  2. I love your take on the sketch – what a great mix of patterned papers! <3 This paper is magical – and I love what you've done with it.
