I used the awesome Stampin’ Up! Blended Seasons stamp set bundle to create my card to share with you today.  Don’t forget that this bundle is only available through August 31 or until supplies run out, so order soon!  You don’t want to miss out on getting this bundle!

My card design was loosely inspired by the sketch from Mix It Up Challenge #46.

I started by stamping the leaf image from the Blended Seasons stamp set (available through Aug 31 while supplies last) in VersaMark Ink on a panel of watercolor paper.  I sprinkled the image with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  Then I used Crushed Curry ink and an Aqua Painter to do a watercolor wash over the entire panel  I let the panel dry completely before proceeding.

I used Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and Cajun Craze Watercolor Pencils from the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2 (available through Aug 31 while supplies last) to color the leaves and then used a Blender Pen to blend the colors.  I adhered the watercolor paper to a panel of Copper Foil Sheets with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to a Cajun Craze card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the leaf die from the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies to cut a panel of Copper Glimmer Paper from the Joyous Noel 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper (available Sept 5) and I adhered the die cut leaves to the watercolor panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I did a watercolor wash with Cajun Craze ink on a smaller panel of watercolor paper, let it dry and then stamped the sentiment from the Blended Seasons stamp set in VersaMark ink on it.  I heat embossed the sentiment with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then cut it out with a Merry Christmas Thinlits Die (available Sept 5).  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the leaf image from the Blended Seasons stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on a panel of Whisper White paper to finish the inside of the card.
