I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Blizzard stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2018 Holiday Catalog to create my card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #284.

I started by applying just water to a panel of watercolor paper with an Aqua Painter.  I added Balmy Blue ink over the damp watercolor paper to create the watercolor wash background.  As the background was drying, I inked the snowflake image from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set in Balmy Blue ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the watercolor paper panel.  This allowed the images to fan just a bit before the panel dried completely.

Once the panel dried completely, I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set in Night of Navy ink on the watercolor panel.  Then I cut snowflakes with the Blizzard Thinlits Die from Sparkle Glimmer Paper and adhered them to the watercolor panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the watercolor panel to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue as well.

I know that they’re hard to see, but I stamped the snowflake image from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set in Night of Navy ink across the front of a Night of Navy card base  before adhering the layered watercolor panel over it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added one of the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Whisper White card stock panel and then inked the snowflake image in Balmy Blue, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it across the panel to finish the inside of the card.
