I used the Stampin’ Up! Country Home stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:
I started by adhering a panel from the Wood Textures DSP Stack to an Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I cut the edge of a panel of Old Olive card stock with one of the Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies and then adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.
I stamped the images from the Country Home photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 5) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then I colored the images with the Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Cajun Craze (available Sept 5) and Mango Melody (available Sept 5) Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used the Color Lifter to remove some of the ink on the can image and then adhered the panel to the card front with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the Country Home stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Mango Melody card stock and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through one of the Galvanized Buttons (available Sept 5), tied a bow and then adhered it with a Glue Dot to the card front.
I stamped the images from the Country Home stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

I do believe I need to order the edgelit dies. Your card is lovely and reminds me of the days of going to the cow barns and the milk man deliveries too.
You do need to get those dies for sure!! They’re beautiful!! 🙂
Wow! So pretty – your milk can is colored perfectly. Love it! 🙂
Thanks so much Mary! 🙂
You have become a pro with those blends! Perfectly colored! The die cut is perfect!
You are too sweet…not a pro by any stretch, but I’m having fun using them! 🙂
Another lovely card. Your coloring is spot on, and love that edgelit die. Great colors.
Thanks Julie! 🙂
