Stampin’ Up! Tea Together for Fab Friday and Ink It! Stamp It! Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop!  This is a group of amazing stampers so be sure to hop through the full line up below so that you can see all of the projects!  This month we are showcasing Stampin’ Up! Occasions and Sale-a-bration products and I’ve used the Tea Together stamp set, the Tea Time Framelits Dies and the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set for my card.

My card is also for the Fab Friday Design Team, be sure to stop by their blog to play along with the sketch challenge this week too!

Here is the sketch for Fab Friday 153.  It’s a good one with lots of possibilities!

My card colors were inspired by Global Design Project #GDP169.

I started by inking the small flower image from the Tea Together cling stamp set (available Jan 3) in Pool Party ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamped it across the front of a Pool Party card base.  I cut a doily from Whisper White card stock with two of the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies (available Jan 3) and then adhered it with SNAIL (hidden in the center) to the card front.

I stamped the tea pot image from the Tea Together stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then die cut a tea pot from scrap paper with the Tea Time Framelits Dies (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3) and I used it ask a mask to stamp flowers over the teapot in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I colored the teapot with Pool Party, Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade and Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack Markers and then cut it out with the coordinating Tea Time Framelits Dies.  I adhered the teapot to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut four sets of leaves from Granny Apple Green card stock with the die from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies (available Jan 3) and I tucked them under the teapot and adhered them with Glue Dots.  I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, cut it out with one of the Lakeside Framelits Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped he sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Poppy Parade ink and the flower in Pool Party ink on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
