My January Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! arrived earlier this week and it is just too cute!  This kit is called Be Mine Valentine and it was designed to make 24 little valentine treat holders!  I didn’t need quite that many treat holders, so I assembled half according to the instructions.

And then used the kit pieces to create 12 valentine note cards!

The kit came with all of the pieces needed to create 24 treat holders (including adhesives), the exclusive Be Mine Valentine photopolymer stamp set and a Melon Mambo Stampin’ Spot.

The treat holders are little pillow boxes and they were super quick to assemble.  Just adhere the sides of the precut boxes, stamp the sentiment and add the embellishments!

The boxes were printed in Pool Party on one side and Melon Mambo on the other so you can pick the color that you’d like to make them!

For the cards that I made, I used the Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes for the card bases and then I cut the pillow boxes down to 1-7/8″ x 3-1/2″ (which was very easy to do since the boxes were unassembled when they arrived) and adhered the pillow box pieces over the card front.  The rest of the design was exactly the same as the kit design for the pillow boxes!

I stamped the sentiment and heart in Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo inks on the inside of the cards.

Love that I’ve got 12 valentine cards and 12 valentine treat boxes all ready to go within a matter of minutes!
