I used the Stampin’ Up! Hello Cupcake stamp set and Call Me Cupcake Thinlits Dies to create a fun cupcake birthday card to share with you today.  The Call Me Cupcake Thinlits Dies will be available for purchase beginning March 1 while supplies last…and you’ll definitely want them because they’re awesome!!

My card design was loosely inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #375.

My card also works for the TGIF Challenge #199.

I started by adhering a panel from the How Sweet It Is DSP to a Gorgeous Grape card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Cupcake photopolymer stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Silver Foil Sheets with the cake plate die from the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits Dies (available March 1) and adhered the die cut to the Whisper White card stock panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the cupcake images from Hello Cupcake stamp set in Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape inks.  I colored the image with the Dark Pool Party, Light Lovely Lipstick and Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut the images out with the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits Dies.

I adhered the Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo cupcake pieces with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the Gorgeous Grape image with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I cut a heart with one of the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies from another panel of How Sweet It Is DSP and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added a Gorgeous Grape Glitter Enamel Dot on the die cut heart to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added a strip of the How Sweet It Is DSP to finish the inside of the card.
