Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “Celebrate Spring” theme and I’m featuring the Fable Friends stamp set for my project.
I started by adhering a panel from the Gingham Gala DSP to a Balmy Blue card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the duck images from Fable Friends stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I colored the images with the Light and Dark Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
I stamped the grass image from the Fable Friends stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist ink around the ducks and then cut the image out with a Rectangle Stitched Framelits Die. I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Fable Friends stamp set in Balmy Blue ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with one of the Layering Circle Framelits dies. I adhered the sentiment to a scalloped circle cut from Balmy Blue card stock with one of the Layering Circle Framelits dies and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut flowers and leaves from Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue card stocks with the Lovely Flower Edgelits Dies and adhered them with rolled up Glue Dots. I added Pearl Basic Jewels to the flowers to finish them.
I stamped the duck images from the Fable Friends stamp set in Balmy Blue ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
