Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions stamp set to create my card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps 201.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by embossing a panel of Highland Heather card stock with the Country Floral Embossing Folder (Sale-a-bration item) and then I adhered the embossed panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the front of a Highland Heather card base.

I stamped the stem and flower images from the Abstract Impressions photopolymer stamp set in Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron and Highland Heather inks and then added the butterfly in So Saffron and Pool Party inks.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Four Seasons DSP (Sale-a-bration item) and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card twice and tied a bow, then stamped the sentiment from the Abstract Impressions stamp set in Highland Heather ink on a small Whisper White card stock panel.  I adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins to finish the card front.

I stamped the flowers from the Abstract Impressions stamp set in Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron and Highland Heather inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
