Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I  used the Stampin’ Up! Free as a Bird stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2019-20 Annual Catalog to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by trimming one of the Happiness Blooms Memories & More Card Pack cards down to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ and then adhering it to a panel of Call Me Clover card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Calypso Coral 3/8″ Satin Ribbon around the panel and adhered it with SNAIL.  I pulled another strand of that ribbon under the length that was adhered to the card stock panel and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to a Calypso Coral card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the bird image from the Free As A Bird stamp set (available June 4) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and colored it with Call Me Clover, Calypso Coral, Pineapple Punch and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack Markers.  I cut the image out with one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (available June 4).  I adhered the die cut panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Free As A Bird stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock, sprinkled it with Pineapple Punch Emboss Powder from the In Color 2018-2020 Stampin’ Emboss Powder pack and heat embossed it.  I cut the image out with a Rectangle Stitched Framelits Die and adhered it with SNAIL and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Calypso Coral and Call Me Clover inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
