Stampin’ Up! New Wonders Card for the Ink It Stamp It Design Team Blog Hop and Fab Friday

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop!  This is a group of amazing stampers so be sure to hop through the full line up below so that you can see all of the projects!  This month we are showcasing Stampin’ Up! products from the upcoming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog and I’ve used the New Wonders host exclusive stamp set for my card.

My card is also for the Fab Friday Design Team, be sure to stop by their blog to play along with the color challenge this week too!

Here are the colors for Fab Friday 164.  Stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card design was inspired by the Fusion Sketch Challenge this week.

I started by adhering a panel from the Garden Lane DSP (available June 4) to a panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock with SNAIL.  I embossed a panel of Flirty Flamingo card stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder and then adhered it with SNAIL to the Soft Sea Foam card stock panel.  I adhered a small length of 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim with Multipurpose Liquid Glue over the seam between the papers and then adhered the layered panel to a Soft Sea Foam card base with Stampin’ Dimensonals.

I stamped the image from the New Wonders host exclusive stamp set (available June 4) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I used Light & Dark Flirty Flamingo, Light Soft Sea Foam, Light Crumb Cake, Light Pineapple Punch, Light Petal Pink and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers along with a Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Maker to color the image.  I cut the image out with one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the New Wonders stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink on a panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock, cut it out with a Layering Ovals Framelits Die and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins to finish the card front.

I stamped the leaf image and sentiment from the New Wonders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored the leaves with a Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Marker to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Amy,
Great card!! I just LOVE this stamp set! Can’t wait to get my hands on it on June 4th. Also, the ‘On to Adventure’ set. So stinkin’ cute!
