Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship Birthday Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “birthday” theme and I’m featuring the Beautiful Friendship stamp set for my birthday card.

I started by adhering a panel from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack to the front of a Highland Heather card base with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the flower images from the Beautiful Friendship photopolymer stamp set in Highland Heather, Soft Sea Foam and So Saffron inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock with SNAIL and then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around it and tied a bow.  I adhered the stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with a Stitched Shapes Die.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front and then added three Noble Peacock Rhinestones around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Lovely photopolymer stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink and added the flower images from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set in Highland Heather and Soft Sea Foam inks to finish the inside of the card.

  1. When I first saw this stamp set, I wasn’t interested. I saw Dena and SU! CEO Sarah Douglas make a card with this stamp set, and I saw some real possibilities. Just think, if I hadn’t watched that video, I’d missed a great stamp set! Seeing your card just reinforced that feeling! Thank you for sharing!

    • I’m not a person that loves purple…but I do love those two colors together. You definitely need them! 😉
