I used the Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars stamp set and a little of the Night Before Christmas DSP to create a holiday gift card holder to share with you today. I did a video tutorial for making this card on my Facebook page yesterday. I’ve also uploaded it to my YouTube Channel so you can view it there too!
I started by scoring a 5″ x 7-1/4″ panel of Night of Navy/Pretty Peacock card stock at 1-3/4″ and 5-1/4″. I adhered panels of Night Before Christmas 6″ x 6″ DSP to the two ends (outside the score lines) and then folded the flaps closed. I adhered the bottom flap to the back panel with Tear & Tape Adhesive on both sides and folded the top flap down.
For the belly band, I scored a 1-1/2″ x 8″ panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock at 2-1/2″ and again at 6-1/8″. I adhered a 1-3/8″ x 6″ strip of the Night Before Christmas DSP to the Cherry Cobbler panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue leaving approximately 1″ uncovered on either end (if you have 12×12 DSP, you can simply cut the panel to 1-3/8″ x 8″ and eliminate the gaps at the end). I folded the belly band on the score lines and adhered it together with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
I slid the band over the gift card holder and then adhered a 2″ Circle Punch from Night of Navy/Pretty Peacock card with Tear & Tape Adhesive so that it covered the gap in the DSP. I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars photopolymer stamp set in Night of Navy/Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I cut around the sentiment with a Stitched Shapes Die and then adhered the die cut circle to the Night of Navy/Pretty Peacock circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a Star Designer Element next to the sentiment.
I stamped the sentiments from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy/Pretty Peacock inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then cut the panel with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I adhered the die cut inside the gift card pocket with SNAIL.

perfect for those hated (by me, but loved by recipients!) gift cards. At least that would make it seem more like a gift.
