Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-June 2020 Mini Catalog to create a card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for making this card on my Facebook page yesterday.  I’ve also uploaded it to my YouTube Channel so you can view it there too!

I borrowed a little inspiration from a project that I saw the Mini Catalog for my card.  🙂  I started by adhering a panel from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP (available Jan 3) to a panel of Pool Party card stock with SNAIL and then to a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Old Olive card stock with three of the Cherry Blossoms Dies (available Jan 3).  I adhered the larger stem die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.

Then I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Forever Blossoms stamp set (available Jan 3) in Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the images with Light and Dark So Saffron and Light Mango Melody and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the flowers out with the coordinating Cherry Blossoms Dies and adhered the smaller die cuts with Glue Dots and the larger die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added in the Old Olive die cut leaves around the flowers with Glue Dots to adhere them.

I stamped the sentiment from the Parisian Beauty stamp set (available Jan 3) in Old Olive ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut around it with a Stitched Rectangle Die.  I slid the Stitched Rectangle Die down a bit and ran the sentiment through the the die cutting machine again to make the rectangle smaller and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three of the Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (available Jan 3) around the flowers to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower image from the Forever Blossoms stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies needed to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
