Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Hello Card

I used the fantastic new Honey Bee stamp set bundle from the upcoming  Stampin’ Up! January-June 2020 Mini Catalog to create my card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by the sketch from the Fusion Challenge.

I started by adhering a panel from the Golden Honey Specialty DSP (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3) to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut another panel of that same DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I adhered that panel to the center of the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered a length of Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Ruched Ribbon with SNAIL to the card front and then stamped the hive image from the Honey Bee stamp set (available Jan 3) in Daffodil Delight ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with the coordinating Detailed Bees Dies (available Jan 3).  I adhered the hive image with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the bee images from the Honey Bee stamp set in StazOn Jet Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored them with the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker.  I cut the bees out with the Detailed Bees Dies and adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee stamp set in StazOn Jet Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered the sentiment die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of the Golden Honey DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and then adhered a bee that I’d stamped and colored to finish the inside of the card.
