I used the Stampin’ Up! Rise & Shie stamp set and a little of the Peaceful Poppies DSP to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

The flowers on my card were inspired by the Paper Players PP482.

I started by adhering a panel from the Peaceful Poppies DSP to the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut another panel of the Peaceful Poppies DSP with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered the die cut panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Rise & Shine photopolymer stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Blackberry Bliss ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, then cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered a length of Old Olive 1/4″ Twill Ribbon from the Botanical Prints Product Medley to the back of the die cut sentiment with SNAIL and then adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered three Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Peaceful Poppies DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored two of the Peaceful Poppies Elements with Poppy Parade and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers and adhered them with Glue Dots to finish the inside of the card.
