Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Smile Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane stamp set bundle to create a fun spring card to share with you today.  Don’t forget to pick up those bundle from the Annual and Mini Catalogs at the 10% discount while you still can!  Even if they items carry forward into the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, they won’t be available at the bundled prices.  So get them now to make sure that you save yourself a few $$!

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #429.

My card also works for Global Design Project #GDP235.

I started by adhering a strip of Balmy Blue DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in VersaMark ink on a Balmy Blue card stock panel, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I stamped the small daisy image the Daisy Lane stamp set in Balmy Blue ink across the Balmy Blue card stock panel and then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock and to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock six times and then punched them out with the coordinating Medium Daisy Punch.  I colored the flower centers on three of the flowers with the Light Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered the flowers together and to the card front with Glue Dots.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the small daisy image in Balmy Blue ink three times on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

This little card is headed to my neighbors across the street who are normally very active community members but have been stuck in their home since all of this craziness started.  Hoping that it puts a smile on their faces. 🙂

I’ve created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of products used to create this card.  You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:

  1. I love this card Amy. So CAS. I’m going to CASE it today as I need to send some smile type cards! I’ve been sending out a lot of birthday cards lately and this will be a good for that too.

  2. Amy,

What a great Spring card. It is cheery and fresh and I appreciate your sharing with us. It would be a good card to send out to encourage people.

  3. Your daisies are so pretty and fresh. One of my favorite flowers. I love the blue and white checks. Thank you for joining us at FMS this week!
